Inability to conceive; Unable to get pregnant
Infertility is the inability to conceive after 12 months of adequate, unprotected intercourse.
Investigation and treatment is generally offered only after 12 month period. 

Causes of infertility in women

  • Ovulatory dysfunction

  • Tubal

  • Advanced age

  • Luteal phase defects

  • Uterine & cervical factors

  • Fibroids

 

Causes of infertility in men

  • A decrease in sperm count

  • Sperm being blocked from being released

Infertility Treatment

Treatment depends upon cause of infertility, it may involve :

  • Induction of Ovulation

  • Folecular Monitoring

  • Planned Relation / IUI

  • Hormone support in Luteal phase
